Dear Mr. Shaheen,

Thank you for your request to order a new Chevrolet Camaro. Unfortunately, as a franchised Chevrolet dealer in the United States, we cannot order inventory for export to Dubai. As much as we would like to accommodate you, it would be a violation of the franchise agreement between General Motors and me. I believe GM has a distributor in Dubai, but I am not sure whether or not they will be selling the new Camaro there or not. I will forward your request to the appropriate channels within GM’s export division to see if there is a way to assist you.

GM requires that we determine the ultimate user and where vehicles will be garaged. If we learn or suspect the vehicle is for export, we have to coordinate the sale through GM’s export arm. Typically, they do not want to interfere with the business model of a distributor in your country. If there are circumstances that make exporting a vehicle to be a reasonable accommodation, for example if you came to this country to study for a year, you could then purchase a vehicle for use in the US and take it home to Dubai when you leave. That would have to be a minimum of 6 months after you purchased the vehicle here and would need approval from GM. Otherwise you would have to deal with the distributor in your country. Thank you for your interest in our products and our dealership.

Sincerely,
W. Lee Denny
